Naumes Equipment opened in 1946 and quickly turned into an established business in the Rogue Valley, selling Kubota tractors to farmers and orchardists. In 1976 Sam Naumes took over managing the family tractor dealership. In 2000, Sam Naumes decided to expand the Naumes name and start selling Yamaha street bikes, ATVs and dirt bikes. Joining the team in 2001 as store manager was Sam’s daughter Sarah. Naumes’ Oregon Motorsports has now expanded to include not only Yamaha products but also Piaggio/Vespa scooters and Featherlite trailers.
